VLC media player for Android

VLC media player is undoubtedly the most popular open source media player, currently existing. Own to its open source nature, developers are porting the player to the open-source mobile operating system that is Android. Android has been around for years now, but VLC for the operating system has not been fully developed yet.

Recently, a new version of the media player for Android was uploaded for the Android users to download. In fact there are two versions of the media player that can be downloaded; one is supports NEON capable device, while the other supports non-NEON capable devices.

As this is still in development stage, there are sure to be bugs and glitches and this should be borne in mind while downloading the media player.
