Increase Adsense Earnings – Upgrade to Text and Image ads

Here is a excellent tip from the Google Adsense Team for the Publishers who have selected Text Ads as the default style of ‘Ad Display Preference’. Following this you need to select ‘Display text and image ads in all ad units’ under the My Account > Account Settings Section. This can be considered as another way to Increase Adsense Income along with the Google Adsense FAQ which was written for our valuable readers who are looking for Adsense Tips.

We would like to tell you about a minor change you can make, which can have a major impact on your AdSense revenue; opting in to text and image ads. Recently, some AdSense publishers have experienced a significant revenue increase after making this change. Opting into text and image ads increases competition among the ads competing to appear on your site, as both text and rich media ads (image, flash and video) will compete in the ad auction. We will then automatically display the ads which will yield the highest earnings for you.
With increased advertiser spend on placement-targeted advertising, enabling image ads means you are also competing for these extra dollars. You can use the Ad Review Centre (ARC) to review the ads placement-targeted to your site. If you decide to opt into text and image ads, there are 2 steps we would ask you to take. Under the AdSense Setup tab, go to Manage Ads and edit each existing AdSense unit to display ‘Text and image ads’. Then, under your My Account tab, make sure that your Ad Type Preference is set to ‘Display text and image ads in all ad units’. We are confident that this simple change can positively impact your revenue potential, so we highly recommend that you see how it can work for you.
Wishing you every success with AdSense,
Jeena,
The Google AdSense Optimisation Team

Boost Your AdSense Earnings the Right Way

There isn’t a website on the net that doesn’t want to make money, in one shape or another. Even though there are plenty of people who do it as a hobby and their initial goal wasn’t to earn money, they are still turning to systems like AdSense to start bringing in some cash. AdSense offers an excellent opportunity to earn some money to bloggers and webmasters who prefer simple solutions that entail simply putting up relevant ads. The fact that AdSense is easy to use is one of its biggest benefits. You can put AdSense up on your site tomorrow and you will see results quickly if you already have visitors coming.

First and foremost, understand that AdSense allows you to customize your ads in more than one way, and this gives you the freedom to play around with the ads to grow the click-through rate. You can try out new sizes for your ads or change their color; you can also change the color of your link. But how can such small changes make any difference? The thing with AdSense is that you never know what change may boost your Click-through rate. You’ll have to be open to these changes and keep on making them on a regular basis, and then analyze your results.

Google AdSense is all about experimentation, which means you, should be open to try out new designs on your website to see how that will improve the performance of the ads. But the key to a good design in this case is to keep it simple. The more minimalist your site’s design is, the higher will be the probability of people noticing your ads and clicking on them. So don’t be afraid to experiment in this area and try out different designs that you think will make a difference.

Last but not least, never ask other people to click your ads and don’t do it yourself, either. Google is implementing strict measures to reduce click fraud, which seems to be on the rise. So, even if you click your ads just to test, you can still end up in trouble.

Anyway, you don’t have to click on the ads to check them because they go through Google’s strict screening process and are fully legitimate. So, if you want to earn some AdSense cash, then don’t do anything that will get your account banned. All in all, from the above article we come to understand how tweaking simple things can make a big difference to the overall results that you can derive from AdSense. There are many webmasters that went on to make hundreds of thousands of dollars from AdSense, and are still raking in a lot of money. If you want to be a part of the elite AdSense crowd, then you will have to think differently than your competition. The more effort you put into making AdSense work for you, the better it will be in the long run. So go ahead, start taking action and apply what you’ve learned here to build a strong online business.
