Samsung’s Galaxy brand is one of the fastest growing in the world of technology and smartphones. The Galaxy Fit has a 600MHz processor and runs Android 2.2 and Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface. TouchWiz allows for superfast and smooth switching between apps, home screens and features on the phone; a rarity for budget smartphones. The device also comes preloaded with a variety of apps including Task Killer, Music, Social Hub and Quick Office, as well as a variety of Google apps.
One of the Galaxy Fit’s killer features is its incredible quality camera. It has a 5-megapixel sensor and shoots images at 2592 x 1944 pixel resolution. It also features geo-tagged and smile detection and shoots video at QVGA quality. The device also has excellent connectivity, with Wi-Fi, HSDPA, EDGE and GPRS. It can be used as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot for tethering and data can be transferred from the phone to a PC with the provided USB cable.
