Verizon Wireless Caps LTE Device Launches With iPhone

Following more than a year of speculation as to how, when, and if Verizon Wireless might carry the iPhone, the carrier announced it will begin selling the iPhone on Feb. 10. The launch caps a slew of 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) mobile device releases at CES, including the HTC Thunder Bolt smart phone and Motorola XOOM tablet. As for the iPhone, there are fears that iPhone sales will cannibalize V smart phone sales, which would greatly impact Google and some manufacturers, including HTC, Motorola, and Samsung.
