It's not a false statement that Facebook has become the third largest country in the world. With more than 500 million active users and the enormous response from the population all over the world, it is growing like anything. With the 140 character limit Twitter's user numbers are growing with a pace of 109 %. Similarly, the Like and Comments feature of Facebook has gained the worldwide popularity. This feature let companies' along with users to make required improvements in the posts and offerings and this has helped to develop the positive image of the brand or the comment.
Let's talk about of what was known for its leadership in world of social media and whose market share has been constantly being taken over by other social media sites. The giant Google is coming up with more added features and tools like Social Search, Google Wave etc. and certainly hopes to dominate the market again. Here I would like to share some of its latest activities -
Google Social Search - I would explain this with an example, If you want some information for a new car, whom would you trust - a friend or a stranger, of course a friend. This is what Google Social Search is, that shows the search results right from social group or friends recommendations.
Google Wave - A real time sharing of text, images, videos, etc. The ultimate place where you can create a message, invite friends to participate, rewind the conversation started months ago. In live conversations participants have the ability to view the text as you type, see edits also.
iGoogle - A personalized home page that has a Google search box on the top and many other applications you want. You have a variety to choose over the gadgets and it also provides access to pool of information available on web without leaving the home page.
All these are the excellent platforms provided by the Google for its users. Nothing is certain at this point of time - What do you think will be the next tool in social media networking. Who will lead the market? Stay Buzz!!!
