Google Chairman says you must use you real name in Google+

The controversy of the real name policy for Google+ that has been going on for several weeks was confirmed by Google chairman Eric Schmidt during the International TV festival in Edinburgh. He said that Google+ was designed for the sake of identify and therefore, real name identification was required of every user.
He asserted that they are aware of the fear of many users to reveal their real identity because of possible risks such as hacking or identify theft. However, he said that revealing the identity of everybody would be a better security measure when everybody is sure that they are dealing with real people with their real names.
He said that since Google+ is an optional application only those ready to use their real names should join and use it.
